I believe the Bible is God's inspired Word to us. It pierces us. It's alive. It's new to us each day. It's a rich treasure, but more than that. It's God's primary way of speaking to us. Seriously, think about that. Words, from God, that speak to us. Wow! But if you are a Christian. If you know God. If you know the Holy Spirit. Then you know this is true: God's Word is alive. He really does speak to us through Scripture. It's certainly mysterious. But you see, God didn't choose to use words as a magic trick. He has a purpose in why Scripture matters. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." The Bible really does teach us. That is, God teaches us through His words. The Bible is our Guide. God is the best Coach ever.
